The Diluted Atmosphere
The Diluted Atmosphere is one that speaks of loss and distance; loss from a place that has yet to be explored and travelled, that can only be accessed from a distance.This translation is the result of the Unit 18’s field trip to Egypt having been cancelled due to the unprecedented times caused by the Covid-19 epidemic.
These atmospheres, through their multiple transfers and translations become unrecognisable. They become the essence of memories that have not been created. They are incomplete, partial experiences and fragments of imagination, of the experience of what would have been.
